Monday Ministry Tip: Saving Emails

In ministry I have learned that it is a must to keep all emails I send and receive.  There have been multiple times that I have had to defend myself after someone was trying to manipulate me.  I’ve had counselors, adult leaders in the church, and even students claim that I did not respond to an email that had sent.  And each time I could confidently print out or forward the email to prove that I responded.  Its sad that that has had to happen, but I’m glad that I have always kept a habit of doing so.   But there are people out there hoping you will fail in ministry and hope to catch you.  Always be prepared.  Even if its a simple, respond to all emails and make sure you have in your preferences that you save all emails sent!
